Final Project

                                                   

1)I use polygonal lasso tool to cut the shape then I use colour picker to choose whatever colour that I want to put as background colour.

2)All the pictures are copy from internet and I use magic wand tool to clear those picture's background , sometimes need to use Ctrl + + to zoom in and clear the background.

3)I use the polygonal lasso tool to cut the shape that I want, use ctrl+t to adjust the scale and rotate it to fit the picture.

4)If I want to duplicate the same picture I holding Alt and drag the picture.

5)I also use the brush tool and choose white colour then I tune to 14% opacity to make the back ground a bit blur, and this can show that the dove and envelope is the main character in this pic.  

                        

1) I use the brush tool and choose black colour to colour the place I want to be dark and I also use yellow colour to colour the place that I want to be shining 

2) After that I go to layer > layer mask > reveal all to create a layer mask and I use eraser tool and change to low opacity to rub the whole picture.

                                                                               

1) I click the gradient tool to choose linear gradient and then i go to gradient editor to edit the colours which are pink yellow and purple.

2) I  go to layer > layer mask > reveal all to create a layer mask and use the pain bucket to pain black colour. After that I use eraser tool and change to low opacity to rub the picture to let us can see the background colour.

4)Lastly I use brush tool and tune the opacity to 14% then I use white colour to draw a heart shape to make it more romantic.

Cup and mouth

Meaning: We use paper cup and string to communicate when we are young.

Element of design:

Line: lines are tiny and curve

Shape: It is clear defined and organic

Texture: Everything looks smooth

Colour and value: Colours are bright 

Principle of design

Balance: All over patern, the object inside the picture place in different place.

Contrast: The yellow colour and black colour are the main contrast in this artwork. 

Harmony: the colour and the object element are similar.

Dominance: The cup and the mouth are dominating the picture.

The guitar

Meaning: Guitar can help people to communicate to other people by music

Element of design

Shape: shapes are clear defined and organic form
Direction: the direction is vertical
Size: The guitar occupied most of the space in the picture
Texture: Everything looks smooth
colour and value: Several colours, looks bright.

Principle of design
Unity: The object in side is similar and they are group closely together
Balance: The guitar is place in the middle of this picture
Contrast: The main contrast in this artwork is the guitar.
Harmony: The colours are similar and the element inside are related.
Dominance: The guitar is the dominance in this picture

The hug

Meaning: Wife gives a hug to her husband when her husband come back from work under the moon.

Element of design

Line: lines are curve and tiny

Shape: It is clear defined and geomatric form

Direction: The direction is vertical and it gives a feeling of balance and formality.

Texture: Everything looks smooth

Colour: It is mix by several colours, it makes complementary colours

Principle of design

Balance: The couple is in the middle of this artwork

Unity: The brightness of colour make this artwork more romantic 

Contrast: Colours on the left side are bright colour, right side are dark colour

Picasso was a Spanish painter, draughtsman, and sculptor. He is one of the most recognized figures in 20th century art. He is the best known for co-founding the Cubist movement and for the wide variety if styles embodied in his work.

The Cubism was a truly revolutionary style of modern art developed by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braques. It revolutionized European painting and sculpture, and inspired related movements in music, literature and architecture.

In cubist artworks, 

• Objects are broken up, analyzed, and re-assembled in an abstracted form—instead of depicting objects from one viewpoint, the artist depicts the subject from a multitude of viewpoints to represent the subject in a greater context.
• The surfaces intersect at seemingly random angles, removing a coherent sense of depth. 
• The background and object planes interpenetrate one another to create the shallow ambiguous space, one of cubism's distinct characteristics.

Element of design:

1.Line: Tiny and curve

2.Shape: It is clearly defined,organic form.

3.Direction: Horizontal lines, it shows calmness.

4.Size: The old guitarist occupied most of the space in this picture

Principle of design:

1. Balance: Asymmetrical because the old guitarist's body is too long and the guitar's neck is too long.

2 .Unity: The brightness of the colours and the old guitarist with rags and guitar looks more sorrow and lonely.

3.Contrast: Black colour and light blue colour are the main contrast in this art.

4.Harmony: The combine of the colours are similar, and it look smooth.

5.Dominant: The guitar, as a musical instrument, is a natural mean for expressing emotions. This allows the guitarist to share and increase his loneliness.

About Me

My name is Daniel Lim Hong Un. I am a BPsy student at Help University. Previously, my aspiration was to be a pilot but luckily I did not choose to study pilot at last because I have a friend is unemployment for a year after he was graduated as he is a top student in Malaysia. I choose to study Psychology is because I want to know more about human's behavior and animal's behavior. I hope I can take a further study in this area and I can use this professional knowledge to help people who needs help.

I have a lot of interest, I like to play football and futsal together with friends. I like music too as I am a drummer, I play drum in church. I like to watch Cobus play drum because he is really awesome. As like the other boys, I like to play computer games too.

Sometimes, I will do some daydream that I am playing for Manchester United in Premier league but I know this is impossible. However, I will try to obtain the highest level of football coaching license and try to be Sir Alex Furguson's successor. Wahahaha~~~Glory Glory Man United~~~
